Ran twice today. I had to take the car to the shop today, so I just ran the half mile back, then tacked on 2.5 more. A good 3 miler in the morning! Temp was still cold. Windchill of 7. Had to run right into the wind the last mile.

8 miles in the afternoon. Did a new route. Out into the country, past the ethanol plant, to Springer Hill, and back around town. Thought about picking it up during the run, but then decided to just take it really easy. Had to stop for a train. Walked so I wouldn't get cold. Temperatures a lot nicer than this morning, at 36 degrees and only a slight wind.

Decided to do ab planks in the evening. 70 seconds each side.

So, HERE is another video and an article of David Goggins. I think he is going to take the place of Dean.

Goggins seems like a hardcore dude.
I wonder what kind of fitness level he had before he finished that first 24 hour run.
Happy the temps are going to warm up. Yay for warmer weather!
I like that you ran back from dropping of the car. That's what it's about.
Goggins, man. He is what made me want to do the extra run in the morning.
I watched both videos. Surprised to hear him say, "I don't like to run, that's why I run". And those "before" pictures, wow.
I bet you have lots of people remark to you, in regards to how many miles you run, "oh, I could never do that!". Yes they could. They just have to change their minds.
