Graph, Long Run, etc.

I started using the online log RunningAhead.com and found out that you can set up all kinds of graphs and what not to view your progress. Upon making a graph of my past 3 months of training, I was glad to see how much progress I have made since the string of injuries of last fall and early winter, shown in the graph above.

This is why you should join RunningAhead. Cool graphs are fun and help you see how your training is going. Ndorfnz.com never had that.

Monday - 25 miles

7:00 AM
25 miles
Q = 8, E = 6

Nice long run! Was supposed to do this run yesterday, but didn't. It must have been the time change.

8 miles - 1:08:14 (8:32 pace)
Break - 9:03
12 miles - 1:44:12 (8:41 pace)
Break - 9:15
5 miles - 46:49 (9:22 pace)

Total - 3:57:35 = 9:31 pace

Ran the 12 miles in the Rucky Chuckies. They are too hardcore for gravel roads, so I had to run at the side of the road where the gravel is deep and where there were rocks and things, just so I could have a smooth ride.

191 miles of Fireroad B
12 miles on Rucky Chucky A

Sunday - 0 miles

Was going to get up at 6 and run, but didn't. It must have been the daylight savings time that did me in. Only got up at 10:35 am. Lazy day. Did not run.

Finished out the week with 65 miles. Had I ran long, would have been at 90, but it is all good. I was going to take Monday and Tuesday off, but now, since Sunday was off, I will run long on Monday, take Tuesday off, and continue with training. Mileage for the week is affected, but miles gotten in overall is the same.

Saturday - 5 miles

7:35 AM
5 miles
Q = 2, E = 7

Supposed to be a nice easy 6, but started to feel like crap after the 1st mile. Felt like how I felt that one time during the last miles of a 20 mile run. Was very hungry the whole time...maybe I just needed to eat more before the run.

Long run tomorrow...I know that it will go well. I have been getting enough rest, and eating plenty. Yesterday, I ate a lot of food, plus 2 plates of nachos when I got off work at 11 pm. My metabolism must be running on high, what with all the running. What I am going to do is feed the metabolic fire...feed it a lot!

PT sets

Pushups and all kinds of abs

9 x 20 push = 180
9 x 30 abs = 270

I like the graph. I like it very much. It's neat to see progress like that.

25 miles is a good day.
How do the legs feel after the long run?

Yes, feed the metabolism. Feed it well!

Wow! Your mileage is climbing extensively! Be careful.

I was going to do a long run this weekend, and didn't. Don't know why. We don't have daylight savings time here, so I'll blame it on homework. Yeah, that's it.

Nice miles! A 25-er! Who cares if it was a day late. Changing the clocks will do that.

Pretty graph. Nice to see progress like that. I'm going to have to check that site out.
