Monday, Week 5.....Inside

I was planning to do an easy 6 today, but the hip flexor decided not to. It's not like I couldn't go run...and it's not like there is a lot of pain (there is hardly any); I just want to make sure that I don't compromise Saturday's 30 miler. That is the most important run this week, and I will do anything to make sure that it is successful.

And then, looking at the program I "made," I realized that today was actually an off day. Hmm. Maybe it was supposed to be an on day, but perhaps when I made it I was struck with the premonition that when today rolled around my hip flexor would need a bit of rest.

I didn't do PT either. I just wasn't feeling in the mood. It is okay, though. It is all good. I will get in a good workout tomorrow.

Hooray!

Plus I didn't want to do any ab stuff just in case it somehow irritated the ol hip flexor. We don't want that. You don't want that (though I don't know why you don't want that), and Arnold Schwartenegger doesn't want that.

My cat doesn't want that.

And your mom. She doesn't want that either.

•••••

I have not gone outside today. It is cold and there is ice on the ground.

That sucks. Ice on the ground. That sucks bad.
There is no ice on the ground here. It has been in the 50s lately. It is chilly, but not cold. Actually, it's great to run in.

Good to take an off day, or two, or three.

Glad to read you have priorities.

When you ask questions on my blog I respond on it, but I don't think you read them because they are on the other blog, not this one.

I asked you one time if you ever re-read them. You didn't respond, so I assumed you didn't read them. Therefore, my responses to your questions on my blog are useless.

That is all.

Ice. Lucky. You guys would probably love it here. You would definitely love it here. Warm all the time. We should trade. Yes.

Good to take a day off from stuff. It's good. Your mom wants that. Sean Connery wants that. Stew Smith wants that. Yes.
