Week 5 in Review

I ended up doing a long run this past Saturday, but stopped at 28 instead of doing 30. Yes, I was almost there, but just wasn't feeling it. Maybe I didn't eat enough carbs the day before, or something like that. I just felt weaker than usual. The 25 miler two weeks ago was awesome, was almost effortless! But this one...hmm...not as good.

I saw a black dog that looked like a greyhound. It ran with me a little bit. That was a good time, the running with the dog and all. A great time indeed!

And I am not so sure about doing the 100 in February...I think it might be too soon. A 50 or a 100k is more realistic, so I think I am going to go for that. Also, since Anton is bumming around on crutches, it would be nice for me to sort of "wait" and delay the 100...

Also, I am not too sure about the training plan I made...maybe it needs more time before its results are known, but right now I am thinking I might need more mileage. I mean, after the 28 miler, I took off the next day, which should have been 15. So for the week I only had 46 miles. Man...I think I need to be back up around 70...how is the plan for you, if you are following it?
