Afternoon Shake Out Runs

Remember, Ben, when we used to do 2-3 mile shake out runs in the afternoon, and how great it made our legs feel?

I think I am scrapping the 100 plan. I am going to train how I feel like. If I feel like going 13 one day, I will do it. Yes, ma'am. I will also do some Afternoon Shake Out Runs. ASORs. That's what I am going to do.

I might do max situps, pushups, and pullups next Monday. At first I thought I would delay it to make sure that I could do more than last month, but then I realized that reason was wrong. It is wrong to interfere with the body's natural gains/losses. Plus, it will give me an idea how much progress/regress that is going on. I hope there is progress...although I don't know if I have been doing enough PT. Or maybe I have.

Nacho is looking out the window. I'm sure she sure wants to go outside!

But it is cold. It is cold.

Scrapping the entire 100 plan? Race and all?

If so, let me know, then I will be able to fully recover and focus more on speed and 10k work.

Are we just copping out?

No copping out at all! I am just not going to do the low mileage plan...I think my legs need more miles on them...

The 100 is still on, or at least a 50 miler or a 100k.

I'm a cop. ;-)

Good news! I can walk the whole day without crutches!
