Some new stuff:
1) Speedwork
I really haven't done too much speed work the past 2 years, so now I am getting back into it. On Tuesdays I do mile repeats or something, and Thursday I do a tempo run. That is a good plan, I think.
2) Long Beach Marathon
I have decided to run the LBM in October. I started 14 weeks before the race date. That is plenty of time. I think I will do okay, probably within 5 minutes of my PR from years ago. Maybe even faster?
3) Weighted Backpack
I did some pullups today with a pack filled with around 15 pounds of stuff. Also, I did some dips with the pack too. I might use a pack on Fridays. Maybe it will help me gain some mass.
That is all for now. Just thought I would write something because I haven't written for a while now...

weighted workouts?!? ouch.
that will be good training for hiking, rock climbing, or ultras.
Speed work is a good idea. Especially for marathons.

Speed work is good. I should probably do some. I think you'll be well prepped for the LBM.
Weighted backpack. I've seen people do this. Rock climber types do it. I'm not there yet.
